Contains a typescript of journals kept by Rhoda Ann Dykes Burgess from 1881-1900 in Pine Valley, Utah, including pedigree charts, maps, and photographs (approximately 400 pages); two original journals of Ernest Hungate Burgess, Rhoda Ann's son, kept from 1899-1903 and 1904, while he was attending the Cedar City Branch Normal School, as well as bound photocopies of those journals with additional photographs (approximately 200 pages); and one original journal kept by Ernest Hungate Burgess from 1904-1905, while he was serving an LDS mission in Germany and Switzerland, as well as a bound typescript of the journal, with additional photographs included (approximately 50 pages).
